OPERATION: I LOVE IT IN THE CAN
Spreading _Omerta_'s idea all the way to Kansas.

This is a food drive to help ANYONE who might be hungry and need something to fill a belly. It is a great cause and will hopefully help a lot of people. What we are asking for is for anyone willing to help, that they set aside 1 can a month. These cans will be collected in through first week of November. They will be separated and dropped off at local shelters for families, and battered women. One can a month, that is it! By November each person would have then saved 11 cans of food. Multiply that 11 cans by each of your friends... Yes, it adds up so quick. As a community, this is a great cause that will help so many!

We have a great community with such big hearts, and this is a good way for us to help those who need it and show that we do care. As a group, we can do this and spread the word! We can help so many by just this small donation! Small donation times small donation will add up before you know it! We are hoping to collect the cans until the first week of November, but no later than November 19.

Some examples of things that are always useful: non-perishables, canned goods, peanut butter, toothpaste, pasta...among many others. Your help will make a difference! No one should go hungry!

Like _Omerta_ said, considering the 6 degrees of separation...

It shouldn't be hard to get the word out! Tell your friends...tell everyone. We have a great community and are working toward a great cause!
